About this program
The American Mathematical Society (AMS) awards the Ruth Lyttle Satter Prize in Mathematics biennially to recognize an outstanding contribution to mathematical research by a woman. The prize highlights recent, influential work across all areas of mathematics and raises the visibility of women researchers; past recipients include leaders in number theory, geometry, dynamics, and analysis.
