Sadoway Materials Innovation and Advocacy Award

About this program

The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS) offers the Sadoway Materials Innovation and Advocacy Award to recognize a mid-career professional with significant, broad materials science and engineering achievements and a demonstrated commitment to sustainability through education, public advocacy, policy, or entrepreneurship. The recipient receives $5,000 and an award presented at the TMS Annual Meeting & Exhibition. Nominees must have an established record of innovative materials-related achievements, outstanding communication or advocacy, and mid-career status at the time of nomination. Nominations are due April 1 annually and must include a nomination form, a two-page supporting statement, a CV of no more than five pages, and two to five brief testimonials.
