Schuchert Award (Charles Schuchert Award)

About this program

The Paleontological Society's Charles Schuchert Award recognizes early-career Members whose paleontological work demonstrates excellence; nominations are accepted annually with a February 1 deadline (nominations received after that date are held for the next year). Ordinarily recipients will be no more than 15 years past completion of the Ph.D., and nominations may be submitted by anyone on a Member's behalf. Nomination dossiers must be submitted electronically as a single PDF via the Society's form and include nominee contact details, nominator contact information, a description of achievements (≤3 pages), the nominee’s CV, and up to five supporting letters; nominations remain active for three years and may be updated annually.
