SDAO Scholarship and Grant Fund

The Special Districts Association of Oregon (SDAO) administers the SDAO Scholarship and Grant Fund to cover registration fees for SDAO/SDIS trainings, approved external educational opportunities (affiliate conferences/trainings), and other association‑defined programs that support special district operations; travel expenses are generally not covered except in limited cases when registration is complimentary or nominal. There is no stated maximum request amount, though awards may be partial to support multiple applicants. Eligible applicants are active board members or employees of SDAO member districts, and applications are reviewed monthly by a staff committee.
