Secondary School Employment Grant

About this program

National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) offers the Secondary School Employment Grant to subsidize job posting fees for approved full‑time athletic trainer positions; approved secondary schools pay $100 of the standard $299 listing fee while NATA covers the remainder. Eligible advertisers are secondary school systems or individual secondary schools, and the position must be a professional athletic trainer role providing a comprehensive athletic health care program in a high school or middle school with a minimum of five days per week of athlete contact. Applicants must register as an employer on the NATA Career Center and complete a one‑page online application including the proposed job listing; a review panel will email approval or disapproval within three to seven business days. Grant approval requires purchase of a job activation credit and posting of the position (submission of the application alone does not post the job); approved schools may be publicized by NATA and may apply for future grants.
