About this program
Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute is issuing Requests for Applications for its Seeds of Science grant program (planned release Fall 2026), funded by The Envoys and the Hot Springs Village Walk for Cancer Research to support exploratory cancer research projects. Awards provide seed funding to Cancer Institute investigators across Cancer Biology, Cancer Prevention and Population Sciences, and Cancer Therapeutics to develop innovative directions and generate preliminary data for NCI grant submissions and cancer-related publications; previously funded projects are not eligible. Applicants must be Cancer Institute investigators and submit proposals that align with the Institute’s mission and goals.
