Senior Research Award

About this program

The American Society of Primatologists offers the Senior Research Award to recognize individuals whose sustained productivity and dedication have significantly advanced research relevant to primatology in laboratory, field, or zoological settings. The recipient receives a plaque and a $500 honorarium. Nominees must not hold the highest degree in their field, such as a Ph.D., M.D., or D.V.M., and need not be ASP members. Nominations due April 30 must include a nominating letter, two supporting letters, and a narrative describing the nominee’s impact on the field.
