Serventy Conservation Award

About this program

The Australian Wildlife Society annually awards the Serventy Conservation Award to recognise outstanding wildlife conservation work carried out outside a professional paid career, honoring the Serventy family; the winner receives $5,000, a trophy and a certificate. Nominations are intended for individuals (often volunteers or non-scientists) whose long‑term conservation efforts are unpaid and are submitted via the Society’s online form or downloadable PDF. Applications are accepted annually with a recurring deadline of 31 December; winners are notified by email and announced at the Society’s AGM/Luncheon and in Australian Wildlife magazine.
