SIAM Activity Group on Applied and Computational Discrete Algorithms Early Career Prize

About this program

The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) Activity Group on Applied and Computational Discrete Algorithms offers its Early Career Prize biennially to recognize an outstanding researcher’s influential contributions to applied and computational discrete algorithms. The award includes a certificate, an invited presentation at the SIAM Conference on ACDA, and reimbursement for reasonable travel expenses. Eligible candidates must be within six years of receiving a Ph.D. or equivalent as of January 1 of the award year, have at least one relevant paper published in English in a peer-reviewed journal or conference proceeding, and be SIAG/ACDA members at nomination; career interruptions may be considered. Nominations require a nominator’s letter, the candidate’s CV, a citation for a key paper, and two or three expert support letters; the next call is scheduled for March 1, 2028.
