SIAM Activity Group on Supercomputing Career Prize

About this program

The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) Activity Group on Supercomputing offers its Career Prize biennially to a senior researcher with broad and distinguished contributions to algorithms research and development for parallel scientific and engineering computing. The 2028 recipient will receive a certificate, an invitation to deliver a plenary lecture at the SIAM Conference on Parallel Processing for Scientific Computing, and reimbursement for reasonable travel expenses. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent earned at least 15 years prior (no later than 2013 for the 2028 award) and may receive the prize only once. Nominations, due March 1, 2027, must include a nominator’s letter, the candidate’s CV, and two or three expert support letters.
