Sister M. Claude Lane, O.P., Memorial Award

About this program

Funded by the Society of Southwest Archivists and named for Sister M. Claude Lane, O.P., the Sister M. Claude Lane Memorial Award recognizes individual archivists who have made significant contributions to the field of religious archives and carries a certificate plus a $300 cash prize. Selection emphasizes involvement in the SAA Archivists of Religious Collections Section, contributions to archival literature on religious archives, leadership in religious archives organizations, or demonstrated leadership within a specific religious archives. Individual archivists only may be nominated; nominations require a completed nomination form submitted by February 28 each year and recipients are selected by the Contributions to the Archives Profession Subcommittee of the SAA Awards Committee.
