Small Event Grants

About this program

The Council for European Studies (CES) offers Small Event Grants of $300–$1,000 to support workshops, lectures, symposia, and similar events that share research on Europe with broader communities. Grants are awarded twice annually for spring and fall events, with CES providing promotional support and requiring funded institutions to brand and document the event. Applicants must be affiliated with a CES Academic Consortium member institution and submit an online application, event description, promotional plan, and budget. Deadlines are December 20 for spring events and July 25 for fall events; a final report is due within one month after the event.
