About this program
The School Nutrition Association (SNA) offers the Presidents Award of Excellence to recognize three state presidents annually for their exceptional leadership in advancing school nutrition programs. The award evaluates achievements in five key areas: Voice of School Nutrition, Career Development and Growth, Stakeholder Community, Thriving Organization, and Membership & Professional Development Goals. Eligibility is limited to state presidents of SNA affiliates, with one awardee selected from each of the three membership divisions: Small (1-525 members), Medium (526-975 members), and Large (976+ members). Applications must demonstrate successful initiatives and meet specific numerical goals related to membership, retention, and professional development.
