SNAME Undergraduate Scholarships

About this program

The Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME) offers one-year undergraduate scholarships to support tuition, textbooks, academic fees, and related expenses for bachelor’s study in naval architecture, marine engineering, ocean engineering, or other marine-related fields. Applicants worldwide must be active SNAME members committed to future membership, with membership held for at least four months before the application deadline. Applicants must be enrolled in an eligible undergraduate program, demonstrate strong academic achievement and commitment to the marine field, and submit a 500–600-word essay and supporting documentation. Applications are due June 1, with supporting materials due by June 15; the Sheri and Anil Raj Scholarship is limited to students at accredited U.S. universities.
