Soil Physics and Hydrology Division Early Career Award

Offered by the Soil Physics and Hydrology Division of the Soil Science Society of America (SSSA), the Soil Physics and Hydrology Early Career Award recognizes early-career scientists for outstanding contributions to soil physics and hydrology. Nominees must have completed their Ph.D. within six years of the award year (graduation after 1 Jan 2019), with a one‑year extension for major career interruptions; former recipients and certain SSSA committee/board members are ineligible. Applicants must self‑nominate (and therefore be SSSA members), submit three reference letters, and ensure their degree is recorded at soils.org; nominators and references may not be members of the Awards Committee or SSSA Board. Nominations are accepted through July 15.
