Special Recognition/Achievement Award

About this program

Offered by the Society’s Awards & Recognition Committee (Chair: Dr. Juan Carlos Serio Silva), the Special Recognition/Achievement Award is a sporadically presented honor for individuals who have rendered exceptional one‑time or short‑term service to the Society; recipients receive a plaque and no monetary prize. Nominations require a nomination letter plus at least one letter of support and should be sent to juan.serio@inecol.mx. Nominations are due by April 30 of the year in which the nominee is to be considered, and selection is made at the committee’s discretion.
