About this program
The European Society for Evolutionary Biology (ESEB) funds Special Topic Networks (STNs), supporting flexible series of small symposia, workshops, courses, and other networking activities focused on active areas of evolutionary biology. Each network may receive up to €10,000 per two-year funding period for a maximum of six years, subject to reviews after two and four years; the next application call opens in autumn 2026. Proposals may address any field of evolutionary biology and are encouraged to present innovative formats that foster focused, interdisciplinary, or collaborative interactions.
