SRCD Latinx Caucus Awards — Dissertation, Early Career, and Mid-Career (Dates, Process, Evaluation Criteria)

SRCD’s Latinx Caucus sponsors Biennial Dissertation, Early Career, and Mid‑Career Research Awards to honor conceptually and methodologically rigorous scholarship on Latinx children, youth, and families; awardees are recognized at the Caucus Biennial Business Meeting and receive honoraria ($500 for dissertation winners; $1,000 for early and mid‑career winners). Applicants must be current, paid members of the SRCD Latinx Caucus; dissertation nominees must have completed their degree within two years of the conference, Early Career nominees within 0–10 years post‑PhD (separate tenure‑track and non‑tenure‑track tracks), and Mid‑Career nominees 11–20 years post‑PhD (also with separate tracks). Nominations or self‑nominations are submitted by June 15, with eligibility screening by July 15, full nominee materials due September 1, and award notifications by October 15; honoraria are issued the summer following the biennial meeting. Required materials vary by award but typically include a short dissertation summary and chair recommendation for dissertation nominees, and a 500‑word statement, recommendation letter, updated CV, and representative scholarly or translational products for Early and Mid‑Career nominees.
