Stephen R. Tully Memorial Grant

About this program

The Raptor Research Foundation offers the Stephen R. Tully Memorial Grant to support raptor research and conservation, particularly for students and amateur researchers with limited access to other funding. One grant of up to $5,000 is awarded annually, along with waived publication page charges in the Journal of Raptor Research if the recipient is the primary author. Applicants must submit a cover letter, CV, photograph, and a proposal of no more than five pages detailing the study rationale, objectives, methods, budget, other funding, and expected results. Agency proposals are not accepted, and applications must be submitted online by June 30.
