Stetson Kennedy Vox Populi (“Voice of the People”) Award

The Oral History Association, co‑sponsored by the Stetson Kennedy Foundation, offers the Stetson Kennedy Vox Populi (“Voice of the People”) Award to recognize individuals and organizations that use oral history to advance social justice or document social justice advocates. The award carries a $200 cash prize and will be bestowed at the 2026 OHA Annual Meeting, with special consideration for bodies of work regarded as significant achievements. Nominations (self‑nominations accepted) must include a 2–3 page nominating statement and a CV/resume or list of projects; supporting materials may be submitted and, if a nomination advances, the committee will request 2–5 letters of support. Submissions are made via the OHA nomination upload and the call is currently open (no deadline listed).
