About this program
The American Society of Overseas Research (ASOR) will award three Stevan B. Dana Project Grants of $5,000 each in 2026 to support ASOR-affiliated excavation projects, especially newer or smaller projects and discrete equipment, research, analysis, or fieldwork components. Applications must be submitted by project directors or senior staff of ASOR-affiliated projects, with director endorsement required for applications from other staff. Only one application per project or site may be funded, and preference is given to projects that have not received an ASOR Project Grant within the past three years; applications are due February 23, 2026.
