STN Research Grants

About this program

The Society of Trauma Nurses (STN) Research Grant Program funds research and evidence-based practice projects that improve trauma nursing, enhance trauma patient care, promote health equity, and produce transferable findings. The 2027 grant application cycle opens in January 2027 and closes in April 2027. Principal investigators must be STN nurse members, with nurses meaningfully involved in project conceptualization, data collection, analysis, or reporting. Projects must be ready for immediate implementation, have documented permission to use proposed tools, and receive Institutional Review Board approval or written exemption before funding; funded investigators must submit interim and final reports and acknowledge STN in publications and presentations.
