Student Paper Award

About this program

Funded by Taylor & Francis, publisher of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality’s Journal of Sex Research, the Student Paper Award recognizes outstanding student-led research published in the journal during the preceding year. The recipient receives a certificate of research excellence, a $1,500 award, and complimentary registration to the SSSS Annual Conference. Eligible articles are automatically considered by July 1 and must feature a student—or someone who graduated no more than six months before initial submission—as first author. Review articles, special-issue introductions, editorials, and papers coauthored by a JSR Editor or Associate Editor are excluded, and SSSS membership is not required.
