SYNERGY Translational Pilot Award Program

About this program

The SYNERGY Translational Pilot Award Program at Dartmouth funds early-stage translational research that bridges discovery and clinical application, supporting cross-disciplinary pilot projects with $20,000–$50,000 in direct costs for 12‑month awards anticipated to begin July 1, 2026. Funded projects should focus on innovative approaches to overcome translational barriers and are encouraged to include community engagement strategies, especially where research affects rural health. Principal Investigators must be from Dartmouth or affiliated institutions and every application must include a Dartmouth‑affiliated Multiple Principal Investigator. Applicants should submit a Letter of Intent per the RFA, consider attending the July 23, 2026 information session, and consult the program FAQ or contact synergy@dartmouth.edu for eligibility and budget guidance.
