About this program
The Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy offers up to $4 million through the Proposition 68 River San Fernando Valley Grant Program to support projects protecting and restoring wildlife, habitat, and historical or archaeological resources, including urban and rural habitat restoration. Eligible applicants include nonprofits, public agencies, and tribal governments proposing projects within the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy Zone. Matching funds are not required; awards are provided through reimbursement and must be encumbered by June 30, 2026. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
