About this program
The American Numismatic Society, with support from Carole Anne Menzi Collier, awards the Collier Prize in Ancient Numismatics biennially for the best single- or multi-authored book, catalog, or online digital work in ancient numismatics. The prize provides $20,000, divided equally among co-authors when applicable. Eligible works must address ancient numismatics dating from 650 BCE to 300 CE; the recipient is selected by a five-member jury of senior numismatists appointed by the ANS president, including a senior ANS curator.
