The Eric DeLony Industrial Heritage Preservation Grant Fund

About this program

The Society for Industrial Archeology offers Eric DeLony Industrial Heritage Preservation Grants of $1,000–$3,000 for studying, documenting, recording, and preserving significant historic industrial sites, structures, and objects. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, academic institutions, qualified individuals, and independent scholars, with organizations preferred and participation by state, county, or local history groups encouraged. Applications are due by March 1 annually and must include signed approval from the principal researcher and sponsoring organization official; awards are limited and may not be offered every year. Grant funds cannot support overhead or administrative costs, and recipients must submit a written project summary suitable for SIA publication.
