The Evan Ferguson Award for Service to the Society

About this program

Sigma Xi offers the Evan Ferguson Award annually to recognize outstanding service to the Society and advancement of its mission. The recipient receives a certificate and has their name engraved on the Evan Ferguson plaque at Sigma Xi headquarters; this is an honor rather than a research funding award.

Any Sigma Xi member, affiliate, staff member, or friend of the Society may be nominated. Nominations are due January 31 and must include a letter describing the nominee’s contributions, their impact, relationship to Sigma Xi, and contact information for both the nominator and nominee, submitted through the Award Nomination Form.
