About this program

The North American Native Fishes Association (NANFA) offers the Gerald C. Corcoran Education Grant, providing up to $2,000 annually for projects that educate the public about North American native fishes and their environments. Eligible activities include educational materials, stream surveys with public outreach, lectures, nature-center or school displays, and teacher-training workshops. Applicants must be NANFA members, although nonmembers may submit membership dues with their proposals. Proposals are due March 31, with funding decisions announced June 30.
