About this program
The Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME) offers the Lourdes “Nina” Elona-Lilley Distinguished Service Award to recognize members whose dedicated personal service and/or technical contributions have significantly advanced SNAME and its activities. Up to five members may be honored annually with a plaque presented at a SNAME meeting. Nominees must be SNAME members and may be nominated by themselves or another member with endorsement from their Section Chairman; past presidents and past medalists are ineligible. Nominations must use the approved Awards Committee form and be submitted by May 1.
