The Phillip Crews Mentoring Award

About this program

The American Society of Pharmacognosy sponsors the Phillip Crews Mentoring Award to honor individuals who have made outstanding contributions to mentoring in natural products/pharmacognosy; the awardee is invited to give a podium talk at the ASP annual meeting and receives an inscribed plaque or commemorative gift. Nominations may be submitted by mentee(s) and/or colleagues and should document mentoring across any career stage and setting (academic, government, NGO/non‑profit, or industry). Required materials are a nomination letter prepared by mentee(s) (co‑signing allowed), the nominee’s detailed CV including a list of mentees, and up to two supporting letters; recipients must be present in person to receive the award, membership and nationality do not affect eligibility, and materials are due February 15 (applications are not returned and may be retained for future consideration).
