About this program
The Ornithological Society of the Middle East, the Caucasus and Central Asia (OSME) offers one annual £5,000 Trevor Poyser Species Conservation Fund award for field-based research and monitoring projects focused on globally threatened bird species in the OSME region. Projects must have clear conservation implications and align with any relevant international species action plans. Applicants must be nationals of the project country, submit the standard application form and supporting materials in English by 1 December for projects beginning the following year, and be able to receive funds by bank transfer. Desk- or laboratory-based studies and education or awareness projects are ineligible.
