About this program
The Division of Polymer Chemistry, Inc., with support from MACRO and the Industrial Advisory Board, sponsors the Undergraduate Research in Polymer Science Symposium and Award to recognize outstanding undergraduate research in polymer science and engineering. Held at the spring American Chemical Society national meeting, the symposium offers oral and poster presentation opportunities, career and graduate-school programming, networking, and awards for the top three oral and poster presentations. Applicants must be undergraduates conducting polymer science or engineering research at a U.S. institution and must register for the appropriate symposium. Nominees must submit an abstract through MAPS to the POLY Division, obtain faculty advisor approval, and list the advisor as a co-author.
