Undergraduate Student Research Fellowship

About this program

The Torrey Botanical Society offers three annual Undergraduate Student Research Fellowships of $500, $1,000, or $1,500 to support plant science fieldwork and/or laboratory research. Applicants must be undergraduate students studying plant science and members of the Society. Applications are due January 15, 2027, and must include a two-page research proposal with a separate literature-cited page, itemized budget and rationale, current CV, and a letter from the major professor describing the applicant’s status and qualifications.
