About this program
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) offers the Vilas Mujumdar Resilience Award to honor members who advance resilience in interdependent civil infrastructure systems through models and methods addressing natural hazards, climate change, or other environmental risks. The award includes a plaque and an honorarium and is presented at the ASCE Annual Convention. Nominees must be living ASCE members in good standing; student members are not eligible, and self-nominations are not accepted. Nominations are due February 1 and must include a signed cover letter, the nominee’s CV or biography, and two to three recommendation letters.
