Walter LeFevre Award

About this program

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) offers the Walter LeFevre Award annually to recognize accredited civil engineering, civil engineering technology, or related programs that promote ethics, professionalism, and licensure. The award includes a crystal award, with up to two honorable mentions, and recognizes documented curricular innovations, program activities, and improvements in these areas. Eligible programs must be accredited by ABET’s EAC or ETAC, and nominations must include a signed cover letter, nomination form, and a narrative of no more than three pages. Nominations are due January 30 and should include supporting data, assessment results, and other documentation demonstrating program impact.
