About this program
The American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges (AMATYC) offers the Wanda Garner Presidential Student Scholarship to encourage students pursuing mathematics, mathematics education, statistics, or STEM fields. Applicants must be nominated by an AMATYC member, maintain a minimum 3.0 overall GPA, and be enrolled full-time during the spring term preceding the AMATYC Annual Conference. Nominations must be submitted online by October 15, and recipients are selected by random drawing.
