Watson Davis Award for Service

About this program

The Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) offers the Watson Davis Award for Service to recognize a member’s sustained leadership and significant, lasting contributions to the Association’s governance, chapters, SIGs, committees, publications, and programs. Sponsored by the Association-at-Large, the award is presented at the ASIS&T Annual Meeting. Nominees must be current members in good standing with at least 10 years of ASIS&T membership; current Board of Directors and Awards & Honors Committee members, as well as previous award recipients, are ineligible. Nominations are due April 1 (or the adjacent weekday) through the online portal and must include a 200–500-word statement, CV, nomination letter, comprehensive service record, and up to three supporting letters.
