About this program

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ Wild Resource Conservation Program awards annual grants—supported by donations through a tax check-off and specialty license plates—to fund surveys, research, and conservation projects for the Commonwealth’s native plants and non-game wildlife. Grants prioritize work that addresses identified conservation needs (such as species inventories, climate-vulnerability assessments, reintroductions, and management planning) and that facilitates information sharing among researchers, conservationists, and educators.
