William B. Joyner Memorial Lecture Nomination

The Seismological Society of America (SSA), in cooperation with the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI), offers the William B. Joyner Memorial Lectureship to honor distinguished contributions that advance collaboration between earthquake science and engineering. The selected lecturer receives waived registration fees and travel support to attend the SSA and EERI Annual Meetings and presents lectures at those meetings and other locations. Nominees must be members of SSA or EERI and have demonstrated significant professional contributions to the earthquake science–engineering interface. Nominations, submitted by an SSA or EERI member by June 30, must include a two-page nomination letter endorsed by three additional supporters, a CV or professional-history summary, and the required ethics disclosure form.
