Young Government Civil Engineer of the Year

About this program

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) offers the Young Government Civil Engineer of the Year award to recognize a Younger Member employed in local, state, or federal government who demonstrates leadership and significant contributions to civil engineering. Candidates are evaluated on professional society service, civil and humanitarian activities, professional advancement, and achievements such as publications or technical presentations. Nominees must be current ASCE members active in their Section, Branch, or Younger Member Group and may not be active members of the Committee on Younger Members. Online nominations, including candidate demographics, a headshot, and signed endorsement form, must be submitted in English by February 1 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
