Younger Member Group Award

About this program

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) offers the annual Younger Member Group Award to recognize outstanding Younger Member Forums and Younger Member Groups at the section and branch level; winners in small, medium, and large categories receive a certificate and a shared honorarium determined annually by the ASCE Executive Committee. Selection is conducted by the Committee on Younger Members (CYM) and approved by the ASCE Executive Committee, with awards presented at an appropriate national meeting. Eligible applicants are YMFs or YMGs operating at the section or branch level (Younger Member Councils and Region Younger Member Advisory Councils are ineligible); applications must be submitted via the YMG Annual Reports Portal and document professional, technical, social, and special activities from the preceding fiscal year (October–September) following CYM’s criteria and format. Nominations are due December 22 at 5:00 pm (EST); contact ASCE Awards & Honors via the ASCE site for process questions.
