I'm in a research office and leadership has asked where funding in one topic or mechanism has been heading. I've attached a public-data export with its source and pull date, and I'll say which period, award types, counting rules, and known coverage gaps apply.

Task
Summarize the recent funding trends for the topic or mechanism I named, using only the export or verified records I've supplied. Keep awards, projects, investigators, and dollar amounts distinct, and drop duplicate records by the identifiers I gave you. Don't compare fiscal periods that aren't alike, and don't read institutional performance into incomplete public data. Where coverage is missing, say so, and ask me before drawing a conclusion the data can't carry.
