    The Wolf Humanities Center offers 2027–2028 Penn Faculty Fellowships to standing, tenure-track and tenured faculty in the humanities and allied departments for research related to the annual theme, “Empire.” Awards include research funds of up to $5,000 and, subject to departmental approval, course relief options.

  2. Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Humanities

    The Wolf Humanities Center at the University of Pennsylvania offers five one-year Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowships for humanities scholars whose interdisciplinary research engages the 2027–2028 theme, “Empire.” Fellows receive a minimum $67,000 stipend, $3,000 research fund, health insurance, mentorship, and opportunities for teaching and participation in seminars and public programming.
