The Dressage Foundation offers the $15,000 Carol Lavell Developing Dressage Prize to support U.S. dressage riders and their horses in advancing to international competition levels. The grant covers training and competition expenses, excluding vet, farrier, living costs, and horse or equipment purchases. Eligibility requires U.S. citizenship, age 18 or older, declared U.S. sport nationality, and active competition at specified levels with scores of 65% or higher, along with a detailed training plan and demonstrated financial need. Applications are due by August 31, 2025.
