About this program
The American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (ASPAN) offers the Gold Leaf Component of the Year Award to recognize excellence in component leadership, member development, communication, education, community relations, and management. The winning component receives $1,000, a plaque, national conference recognition, publication recognition, a perianesthesia nursing book or publication, and member ribbons. Any chartered ASPAN component may apply through its president or designee, but a component may receive the award only once every three years. Applications must follow ASPAN’s required format, include clearly labeled supporting documentation, and be postmarked or submitted by February 1, 2027.
