2026 Early Career Research Grant Program

About this program

The Strategy Research Foundation of the Strategic Management Society offers 2026 Early Career Research Grants of up to $15,000 to support direct research expenses, such as data collection and research assistance, for strategic management projects conducted from January 2027 through December 2028. Applicants must have received a Ph.D. in strategic management or a related field within four years of the funding cycle, be full-time university-affiliated research faculty or postdoctoral researchers, and maintain Strategic Management Society membership throughout the grant period. Proposals must address new, uncompleted research, include a detailed research plan and budget, and be submitted by October 1, 2026; institutional overhead, prior expenses, and PI compensation are ineligible.
