2026 Johnson & Johnson Health Equity and Disparity Research Grant for Attendings, Fellows, & Residents

About this program

The J. Robert Gladden Orthopaedic Society, with support from Johnson & Johnson, offers $50,000 grants to fund orthopaedic research addressing health equity and disparities, with measurable outcomes expected by the end of the grant cycle. Eligible applicants include practicing orthopaedic surgeons who are attendings, fellows, or residents and have maintained JRGOS membership in good standing for at least two years. Recipients must remain JRGOS members throughout the project, acknowledge JRGOS support, submit updates every six months, and may not request indirect costs. Applications are accepted August 1–October 19, 2026, and require a project abstract, specific aims, research plan, budget, timeline, references, and investigator CVs.
