2026 Registry Based Projects Award Program

About this program

The Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists’ Registry Based Projects Award Program supports SCA members conducting research or quality-improvement projects using STS National Database or MPOG registry data. Up to three one-time awards of $20,000 each will be granted, with projects advancing cardiovascular anesthesia care. Applicants must submit a two-page letter of intent, NIH-format PI biosketch, and, for MPOG proposals, a completed coversheet and local MPOG Principal Investigator review; the LOI must verify data availability and compliance with registry team requirements. Letters of intent are due September 24, 2026, with full applications limited to invited applicants.
