2026–2027 Foundation for Women’s Cancer Research Grants

About this program

The Foundation for Women’s Cancer (FWC) offers 2026–2027 research grants supporting translational gynecologic cancer research, with awards presented at the SGO Annual Meeting in March 2027. Applications require a two-stage process: a 250-word letter of intent due October 1, 2026, followed by invited full proposals due December 9, 2026, including a research plan, budget, biosketch, support letters, and public abstract. SGO members who are early-career professionals or junior investigators—generally assistant professors or below and within seven years of their first faculty appointment—are encouraged to apply; nonmembers must have an SGO member co-investigator or documented sponsor. Full professors are ineligible, research must be conducted at a U.S. institution, and applicants may submit only one application per year.
